McKeown's Price Guide to Antique and Classic Cameras is widely recognized as the world's best general reference on cameras. But due to the fact that it is a general reference, it can not possibly go into depth on history or technical aspects of individual cameras. As editor of this book, I have always found it frustrating to withhold information to conserve space. We have always tried to present a balanced blend of essential information and interesting facts.
We will use this web page to provide more in-depth articles on specific subjects and we also welcome you, our readers, to submit articles on your collecting specialty to share with your fellow collectors. At the same time, we encourage you to join a local camera collector society and contribute your knowledge to their newsletter or publication. Sharing knowledge among camera collectors is the most interesting part of our hobby. If you have already published articles in print and would like to see them on line, don't be bashful. If you have camera articles on another website, let us know so we can post a link to your articles.
We will grow our list of features on line, and eventually this site will be the encyclopedia of in-depth information we all love to access.
